Spicy Korean Rice Cake (Tteokbokki)

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • MATAMUN - Reiskuchen (Tteok): 300g
  • MAEIL - Rice Cake Sauce: 1 pack
  • Water: 250ml
  • Spring onion: 1 stalk (chopped)
  • Boiled egg: 1 piece (halved, optional)
  • Korean fish cake (Eomuk): 150g (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Sesame seeds: for garnish

Instructions

Schritt 1

Bring water to a boil in a pan, then add rice cakes and fish cakes.

Schritt 2

Add MAEIL - Rice Cake Sauce, stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Schritt 3

Add the boiled egg (if using) and mix well.

Schritt 4

Garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds. Serve hot!
